My Bench Rest

I built this gunrest using a comercial design as a base. I still need to send it off the the powder coaters but it shoots like a dream and I thought I'd share the design. I have Acad Drawings for the unit if anyone wants to try it.
Most of the design speaks for itself. You'll notice the center fine adjust elevation screw. There is also a small 1/4 " rod assembly that swings in the machine grooves on the side plates to get Gross 1" Quick elevation changes. I did not have it on when I took the pictures. It shows up good in the drawings though. I also have both rubber feet for concrete benches and sharpened posts for wood benches. I put storage nuts on the bench for the rubber feet when not in use.
I have 2 rear support legs; 1 at 3" and another at 6" and there is a place to store the extra on the bench as well. The 6" is needed for rifles without any drop at the heel like the ar15. My saddle maker is making the front sandbag that will fit into the front frame and also tooling a rear saddle for the stock that will replace the velcro in the pics
